Team Fragola Clinches the National Title at the 2023 Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Championship

Over Three Million Dollars in Scholarships Awarded in 2023 Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Elite TEN National Championship



Indianapolis, IN - The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Elite TEN National Championship, the apex of high school automotive engine rebuilding competitions, concluded with Forsyth Central High School Team Fragola, winning the championship title. Held at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show on December 7th-8th, 2023, in Indianapolis, this year's event saw 32 teams from across the nation compete in the SEMA and PRI Playoffs, with the top 5 from each advancing to the Elite TEN Championship.

Forsyth Central High School Team Fragola from Georgia, under the guidance of Instructor Tyler Turner, delivered a stellar performance with an average time of 17:16, securing first place. York County School of Technology Team 1 from Pennsylvania, coached by Todd Kessler and sponsored by Motive Gear, earned second place with an average time of 18:22. The third, fourth, and fifth places were claimed by Forsyth Central High School Team JE Pistons, York County School of Technology Team NASCAR Tech, and CD Hylton High School Team SCAT, respectively.

A highlight of this year's championship was the awarding of over three million dollars in scholarships to students who participated in the playoffs and championship. This significant investment in the future of automotive professionals underscores the importance and impact of the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow program.

This program, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to automotive education, is made possible thanks to the generous support of our amazing sponsors and the dedicated efforts of countless volunteers.
